In front of the Shelter
Eliza Brook Shelter - 2400'
This eight person shelter sits on the Kinsman Ridge trail, where it crosses Eliza Brook. It is run by the AMC, but there is no caretaker at this site. The quickest way to get to the shelter is to take the Reel Brook trail from Rt 116 and turn left (north east) on the Kinsman Ridge trail for a total distance of 3.9 miles. Just to the north is South Kinsman. There are two hardened tent pads near the shelter.
