The White Mountain Nation Forest is home to many different kinds of wildlife from the all too
common black fly to the massive moose. The animals listed below are common enough that
it's possible to see one on a hike from the trail. It may take some persistance and knowledge
of the habitat and behavior of the animals, but they are out there.
